Basic Terms / बुनियादी शब्दावली

1. Stock: A share in the ownership of a company. स्टॉक: किसी कंपनी में स्वामित्व का हिस्सा।
2. Share: A single unit of ownership in a company. शेयर: किसी कंपनी में स्वामित्व की एक इकाई।
3. Equity: Ownership in a company, represented by shares.   इक्विटी: शेयरों के रूप में किसी कंपनी में स्वामित्व।
4. Bull Market: A market condition where prices are rising or expected to rise.  बुल मार्केट: ऐसी स्थिति जब बाजार के दाम बढ़ रहे हों या बढ़ने की उम्मीद हो।
5. Bear Market: A market condition where prices are falling or expected to fall.  बियर मार्केट: ऐसी स्थिति जब बाजार के दाम गिर रहे हों या गिरने की उम्मीद हो।
6. IPO (Initial Public Offering): The first time a company sells its shares to the public.  आईपीओ (प्रारंभिक सार्वजनिक पेशकश): जब कोई कंपनी पहली बार अपने शेयर जनता को बेचती है।

Trading-Related Terms / ट्रेडिंग से जुड़े शब्द

1. Broker: An individual or firm that helps buy and sell stocks. ब्रोकर: व्यक्ति या फर्म जो शेयर खरीदने और बेचने में मदद करता है।
2. Bid Price: The price a buyer is willing to pay for a stock.  बिड प्राइस: वह कीमत जिसे खरीदार किसी शेयर के लिए देने को तैयार है।
3. Ask Price: The price a seller is willing to accept for a stock.  आस्क प्राइस: वह कीमत जिसे विक्रेता शेयर बेचने के लिए तैयार है।
4. Spread: The difference between the bid and ask price. स्प्रेड: बिड और आस्क प्राइस के बीच का अंतर।
5. Limit Order: An order to buy or sell at a specific price. लिमिट ऑर्डर: किसी निश्चित कीमत पर खरीदने या बेचने का आदेश।
6. Market Order: An order to buy or sell immediately at the current price. मार्केट ऑर्डर: मौजूदा कीमत पर तुरंत खरीदने या बेचने का आदेश।
7. Stop Loss: An order to sell when a stock reaches a specific price to avoid losses. स्टॉप लॉस: नुकसान से बचने के लिए किसी शेयर को एक तय कीमत पर बेचने का आदेश।

Market Indicators / बाजार संकेतक

1. Index: A measure of market performance (e.g., Nifty 50). इंडेक्स: बाजार प्रदर्शन का सूचकांक (जैसे, निफ्टी 50)।
2. Volatility: The degree of price movement in a stock. वोलैटिलिटी: किसी शेयर की कीमत में उतार-चढ़ाव की सीमा।
3. Volume: The number of shares traded in a specific time. वॉल्यूम: किसी निश्चित समय में ट्रेड हुए शेयरों की संख्या।

Investment Types / निवेश प्रकार

1. Blue-Chip Stocks: Shares of well-established companies. ब्लू-चिप स्टॉक्स: अच्छी तरह से स्थापित कंपनियों के शेयर।
2. Penny Stocks: Low-priced, high-risk stocks of small companies. पेनी स्टॉक्स: छोटे मूल्य और उच्च जोखिम वाले शेयर।

• EPS (Earnings Per Share): A company's profit divided by its shares. ईपीएस (प्रति शेयर आय): कंपनी का मुनाफा ÷ शेयरों की संख्या। 

• Resistance Level: The price where a stock faces selling pressure. रेजिस्टेंस लेवल: वह स्तर जहां शेयर बिकने का दबाव महसूस करता है।

• Support Level: The price where a stock finds buying interest. सपोर्ट लेवल: वह स्तर जहां शेयर खरीदारी का समर्थन पाता है।

• Candlestick Chart: A chart showing stock price movements. कैंडलस्टिक चार्ट: शेयर के मूल्य में उतार-चढ़ाव दिखाने वाला चार्ट।

Advanced Terms / उन्नत शब्दावली

1. Derivative: A contract based on an asset’s value (e.g., futures, options). डेरिवेटिव: किसी संपत्ति के मूल्य पर आधारित अनुबंध।
2. Leverage: Borrowing money to increase potential returns. लिवरेज: संभावित लाभ बढ़ाने के लिए उधार धन का उपयोग।
3. Hedge: A strategy to reduce investment risks. हेज: निवेश जोखिम कम करने की रणनीति।
4. Short Selling: Selling borrowed stocks expecting a price drop. शॉर्ट सेलिंग: शेयर उधार लेकर गिरावट की उम्मीद में बेचना।
